Training Administrator

Working Pattern: Permanent/Full-time/37.5 hours per week/Monday – Friday

Salary:£16,000-£18,000 PA

 

We are currently seeking a Training Administrator to join the training department at our Training Academy based at Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan.

Reporting to the Training Academy Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of all commercial activities, supporting marketing activities along with undertaking all Smart delivery administration duties, coordinating a trainee’s journey within the Lowri Beck Training Academy (LBTA).

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Databases and spreadsheets kept up to date with details of all invoicing undertaken and costed to individual / section.

  • Assist with all sales, marketing and advertising activities including working closely with LB marketing team undertaking some marketing duties outside the organisation.

  • Work with Training Team to satisfy Awarding Organisations registration and certification requirements. Assist in audit visit preparation working closely with the Management Team.

  • Inventory - System set up for full monitoring and control of all items of stock associated with LBTA Commercial operations.

  • Printing & Photocopying

  • Word Processing support to GD / PA. All other WP support has to be agreed by GD / PA

  • Monitoring of quality standards - rooms, working areas, documentation, course organisation etc. Performing all invigilation duties with the required awarding bodies.

  • Maintenance of programme documentation to LBTA standards - central storage on network.

  • Following LB process of work within all smart metering duties, keeping all trainee records electronic forwarding the relevant documents to payroll if required.

  • Administration of all LBTA course bookings - Use of database for recording all details including cost analysis updating the relevant spreadsheets throughout the year.

  • Organise and coordinate trainee attendance through the stages of the course. Providing contact for any queries or concerns acting with quick responses and solutions.

  • Follow up on any commercial training enquiries using the existing system, updating all existing records.

  • Monitoring and recording of database information for all Commercial contracts to supply other LBS departments with accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Data monitoring of SFA contracts and other funding streams for financial control and auditing purposes.

  • Participate in and attend team meetings, taking minutes when required

  • Liaise with other team members to develop systems and procedures to ensure/improve efficiency and effectiveness LBTA

  • Support other sections of LBS for LBTA as required

 

                      

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good standard of education (x5 GCSE or equivalent)

  • Have previous experience working in an education and training environment

  • Have good knowledge of education and training systems and procedures

  • Good knowledge of assessment procedures

  • Be computer literate with ability to use Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office applications and email

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to present a professional image at all times

 

 

You must also:

  • Have a willingness to travel and work in other business locations as required in support of the business objectives
