Working Pattern: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Salary: £18,583.50 per annum

 

Our Non-Half Hourly (NHH) Operations Department are looking for an Operations Assistant to assist with the workload of the teams, validating, investigating, analysing, and resolving any day-to-day operational issues. The role is based within our 'Triangle House' office in Wigan working on a hybrid working basis.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Validating and processing data received from other industry agents.

  • Diagnosing, analysing, and resolving data issues/values.

  • Learning and understanding electricity & gas industry processes and local work instructions.

  • Processing inbound and outbound industry data-flows.

  • Checking, sending, receiving, and loading files via the Data Transfer Network (DTN).

  • Adhering to contractual and industry driven deadlines.

  • Liaising with and dealing with queries from energy suppliers and other industry agents.

  • Preparing and analysing operational and management reports.

  • Developing, testing, and implementing new business processes and functionality.

 

What we are looking for

  • A good standard of education (minimum GCSE level including English & Maths or equivalent).

  • Ideally have previous experience of data analysis, with any experience working within a similar role and of NHHDC/DA/MOA services being advantageous.

  • Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, organisation and administration skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, and work towards strict deadlines.
