Working Pattern: Permanent / Full-time/ 37.5 hours per week / Monday – Friday

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 per annum (depending on experience & qualifications)

 

We have an opportunity available for an Internal Recruiter to join our internal recruitment team based within our head office in Wigan. The successful candidate will support the business with proactive recruitment to fill high volume vacancies, often in difficult to recruit for roles and geographical locations.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage multiple recruitment campaigns

  • Carry out direct candidate searching and telephone screening against job criteria before forwarding to recruitment manager

  • Ensure all jobs are filled according to the specification and within agreed timescales using methods such as posting job adverts, head hunting and direct approaches.

  • Develop and implement creative recruitment methods to ensure the business can recruit the right people at the right time

  • Contribute to the design of assessment and interview materials

  • Provide a high level of candidate care by ensuring frequent feedback

  • Create a constant recruitment pipeline in key areas

  • Assist in the development of recruitment strategies, keeping abreast of market intelligence and industry trends including legislative changes

  • Ensure job adverts are compliant with the Equality Act 2010

  • Maintain recruitment system accurately to maintain data integrity for reporting purposes

  • Identify areas of process improvement in relation to your areas of responsibility and feed back to the Recruitment Manager

 

What we are looking for

  • Good level of education (GCSE/A-Level or equivalent), with a level 3 certificate in Recruitment Practice (CertRP or CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification being desirable.

  • Substantial recruitment experience & knowledge (ideally gained in both Agency and internal recruitment roles) delivering a high number of candidates for difficult to recruit roles, selecting CV’s against job criteria.

  • Experience using varied and creative methods to attract candidates and build a recruitment pool.

  • Understanding of recruitment best practice & technology, with experience in data gathering & analysis, alongside previous use of Cascade Recruitment Module/Cascade Online Recruitment Module being advantageous.

  • Computer literate with the ability to operate Microsoft Office, E-mail, and have experience in maintaining databases.
