Field Work Resource Team Member

Working Pattern: Permanent / Full-time / 37.5 hours per week / Monday – Friday 7.30pm-6.00pm on a rota basis

Salary: £17,004 per annum (£8.72 per hour)

 

We are looking for someone to join our Field Work Resource department based in Wigan. Working within a defined geographical area and liaising with field operatives in the area, you will create cost effective and manageable work routes using a truck stop route planning system, taking into consideration different contractual demands & performance.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work within a geographical area routing work with a view to achieving above said performance

  • Ensuring routes are as cost effective and manageable as possible from a field perspective

  • Ensuring appointments are allocated and downloaded by operatives, and speaking to customers and suppliers when rearranging any appointments that may have failed

  • Looking at various reports to identify problem postcodes/areas/work to achieve performance levels

  • Reporting for field managers so they have a view of work in the field

  • Working alongside Mop scheduling giving multi skilled engineers sufficient routes

 

What we are looking for:

  • Good standard of education (GCSE’s including Maths & English or equivalent)

  • Previous allocation or scheduling experience advantageous

  • Computer literate with the ability to operate Microsoft Office & e-mail

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

  • Ability to work to deadlines and use own initiative
