Working Pattern: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience


Lowri Beck is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with proven success of delivering on projects. Working within the Change Management team who are responsible for driving key change projects within the business, the Business Analyst will contribute to the company’s business objectives by; bridging the gap between the business and IT, understanding business needs as they relate to a potential change or transformation, proactively championing an analytical methodology across the business, facilitate change by supporting the delivery of key projects and programmes, helping to ensure that the company’s commercial, financial and operational commitments are met, and ensure the effective implementation and use of information systems in line with the needs of the business.


Key Accountabilities

  • Work within the Business Support Team to deliver continuous improvement and change management to the business.

  • Engage with key business stakeholders to understand business objectives and processes.

  • Support the development of Business Cases for Projects.

  • Collaborate with Key stakeholders (business and technical) to illicit requirements for new initiatives.

  • Work in objectively analysing and documenting existing processes and systems to support continuous improvement.

  • Review external documentation (supplier programme requirements), extract key information and recommend solutions that fully meet the expectations of our business and our customers.

  • Develop, generate, and present reports to senior management, operations, support teams and external clients.

  • Develop and control project management and operational delivery documentation

  • Develop user acceptance test plans. Coordinate user acceptance testing by executing the testing strategy, scheduling resources, and tracking test performance.

  • Develop and deliver user training, including documentation ensuring that the appropriate document control process is used.

  • Manage transition from projects to BAU and remain updated on current service issues and problem management.

  • Monitor and present, to key business users, on Industry change / Compliance / Audits / Industry Reporting.

  • Develop understanding of the current and future technology landscape.

  • Ensure our quality standards and project methodologies are achieved and excelled upon.

  • Become a subject matter expert in our data, processes, and business methodologies.

  • Understand and ensure data protection and standards are adhered to.


Due to Lowri Beck's size and attitude, we expect our Business Analysts to work across the business and gain a good knowledge of all areas. The role will be in various parts of the business, and you will be expected to work flexibly.


What we are looking for

  • Good standard of general education (e.g., 5+ GCSEs/2+ A levels or equivalent). A Business Analysis related qualification would be advantageous.

  • More than 4 years’ experience working in business analysis, with proven experience in defining key processes and activities to inform large change activity would being an advantage.

  • Experience in Requirements Gathering, Business Process Modelling, Stakeholder analysis and management & Business documentation creation.

  • Excellent knowledge of business analysis investigation techniques, requirements management & the project lifecycle.

  • Highly skilled with the Microsoft Office suite of products, as well as being highly numerate with skills and experience of analysis and interpretation of data. Any previous SQL experience/skills would be advantageous.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people across the business.
